All About Me

Hi, my name is Trinay, a first-time mom. My first born son's name is Jos and he will be present in most of my entries, well as the title would tell you - a lot of confessions would be poured here.

My first love was Mathematics but I surprised everyone when I took European Languages in college. I majored in French and minor in Spanish. I believed that I could still learn the language without me spending four years studying it, so I shifted to Economics. With so many stories in between and to cut the story short- I will now introduce myself as someone who graduated in Economics and who speaks Spanish. How good am I in Spanish? Well, let's just say that I'm being paid for it. Sounds good enough for me.

I love travelling. I love airports; the smell, the people traffic, duty-free shops, all these can really make me high. I would trade any luxurious way of living just to travel, but well that was before. My passport is now on leave, letting it breath for a while until Jos, Mr. Yu, and I are ready to travel abroad together again. No regrets... I have already visited 22 countries so I think taking a break from travelling this time would not hurt.

My previous jobs include: researcher, Senate staff, Spanish customer service, professor, EFL instructor, translator, consultant, team supervisor... Yeah, so many unrelated jobs. Why? Because I wanted to develop and share my different set of skills to whoever needs them, and I don't want to limit myself with all the possibilities out there. Hihi 

I'm the only girl in my family of four. Not only that, I and my mother share the same birthday. I was God's birthday gift to her, I know ;)  I would not blame the outsider to think that I am the favoured child, but really I am not. It just looks like that way.  

And oh, I love Colombia!
